M.A. Program Outcomes
The M.A. in Intercultural Leadership program attempts to achieve specific outcomes:
- Develop a Christian Worldview regarding what the scriptures say about the urgency and necessity for Intercultural Leadership.
- Enhance the student’s ability to communicate in a cross-cultural setting.
- Provide an understanding of the biblical foundation there is for leadership.
- Provide an understanding of the spiritual foundations required to be an effective leader.
- Provide an understanding of the model that Jesus gave regarding leadership.
- Provide an understanding of the various perspectives regarding Intercultural Leadership.
- Provide an understanding of the methods and tools available to explore a new culture.
- Provide an understanding of how to effectively develop leaders in an intercultural setting.
- Provide an understanding of the methods and value of developing collaborative relationships in an intercultural setting.
- Provide an understanding of the steps required to caste a vision and create a strategic plan in an intercultural setting.
- Provide an understanding of the current issues and trends in Global Leadership.
- Provide an understanding of the steps required to bring about innovation and change in a new culture.
- Provide the skills and tools necessary for the student to become a lifelong leader, building upon their educational experience.
- Provide hands on practicum experience to work through the key aspects of core areas of Intercultural Leadership.
